Jeffito's Journey 2005
This blog documents my journey when I worked & lived in Hong Kong (4/5/05-12/15/05). I can’t thank my company enough for this international assignment, as it has been an experience of a lifetime! A journey I wanted to share with family, friends, and my fellow cast members. Click on any picture to enlarge. Click on the archives to see past months. Enjoy.

24 Days Before Departure!
Cindy & Rafael drove to Orlando this weekend. Fortunately, we were able to hook up as Rafael had a four-day weekend. We spent a few hours relaxing & listened to our Cantonese CD’s when they arrived! (Nee ho ma? Mo ho ho! – We are still learning…) Hopefully Cindy & Rafael will be able to visit us while we are in Hong Kong.
After butchering the Cantonese language, we had an opportunity to dine at the Grand Floridian. We had a feast. Since we were so full, we decided to walk through the Magic Kingdom and see “Wishes”, the newest fireworks display at Disney. I must admit these fireworks were awesome.

I guess you must understand your past, before you can understand your future. All jokes aside, John McCurry, pictured here for Halloween, is one of the most thoughtful, sensitive, and creative guys I known. It would be an understatement to say I love this guy (even though he looks like this here). I think this post will remind me that we are pretty wacky in the USA, thus not to be quick to judge in China :)

Thank You Jim
Starting a Blog was a great tip given to me by Jim Rubino. Jim is the techy-est Alpha Chi Rho I know. Thank you Jim! You can check Jim out at http://www.rubinofamily.com
I figure this blog might be the best way capture my adventures in Hong Kong. I leave on 4/5/05, one day after our (Wendita & Jeffito 04/04/04) first year wedding anniversary. I'll be returning to the States 11/1/05.
I'll be staying at the Gold Coast Apartments. It looks like a great place http://www.goldcoast.com.hk
