4-17-05, 3pm. This blew my mind On Sunday, I ventured off by myself to Central on Hong Kong Island just to walk around. I ran into tens of thousands of Philippine Housekeepers on their day off. Pictured here is just one hundredth of the groups that were gathered. I was told by a Hong Kong national that Sunday is Family Day, thus the live-in housekeeper is required to leave the house for the whole day. Thus they all gather in downtown. They were eating, singing, playing cards, doing each others nails, it was crazy, but cool. It was the largest Housekeeping Pot-Luck EVER!
Jeffito's Journey 2005
This blog documents my journey when I worked & lived in Hong Kong (4/5/05-12/15/05). I can’t thank my company enough for this international assignment, as it has been an experience of a lifetime! A journey I wanted to share with family, friends, and my fellow cast members. Click on any picture to enlarge. Click on the archives to see past months. Enjoy.
